Posters
Our Responsible Consumption Day poster! Many thanks to the Romanian student who edited the Romanian version so both schools could have matching posters!

Upcycling Workshop
“We took some pieces of used clothing and we cut out letters in order to form phrases related to responsible consumption. We chose the fabrics we would use and we cooperated all together.”
Milena

Homemade treats
“We made snacks at home – milk pie, spinach pie, banana bread . We showed a presentation about eco snacks to the second junior high school students and after telling them what each of the snacks contained, we all tasted them and treated other classes as well. Thanks Ellie for the ingredient cards!”

Homemade treats
“Me and my friend made the banana bread at home and showed the ingredient cards to the younger students. They were really interested and very surprised. The banana bread turned out really good and everyone liked it—some even asked for more! It was fun to see how we could make something delicious while using up ripe bananas and being eco-friendly. Overall, we loved the experience, sharing it with everyone, and showing how we can make tasty snacks in a sustainable way.”

Presentations
“We presented some of the Erasmus+ activities to three English classes of students our age: the sewing workshop, the Biology workshop about nanoplastics and microplastics, the olive oil workshop, the ecological footprint workshop, the Food Bank, our eco snacks activity and the eco tour. In this way, we raised awareness about various areas of responsible consumption. We also watched the Romanian students’ video, talking about our overall Erasmus+ experience. We were impressed by how confident our Romanina friends were on the camera and the impact the activities had on them.”

Presentations
“For the responsible consumption day we gathered the students of our grade in the auditorioum and the eTwinning students presented to them all the activities that took place before, during, and after the Romanians students visit, while also explaining the aim of each activity to them. By having the students who participated in these activities present, our goal was to make the presentation more interesting for the students since their classmates presented and also make it more personal since each presenting student could give their own personal experience.”
